N-Power Error of Unmatched Name: What does it mean?
Thanks for joining us right here on NpowerNG Solutions, where we try as much as we can to tackle some technical questions that are related to N-Power.One of the problems some of the unpaid volunteers are facing today is :Unmatched name.
There will always be one reason or the other while your monthly stipend is still being held.
So, what's Unmatched name?
N-Power unmatched name is a situation whereby the name you fill in your NPVN PORTAL doesnt correlate with the name you have in your bank details.
In a situation like this, you will see unmatched name in your payment history, you won't be paid.
You have to prove to Npower Team that you're the true owner of the bank account, and that you're a real applicant.
This measure and scrutiny is meant to reduce to 0% the issue of ghost npower workers, which was rampant in the government of yesterday.

Example of unmatched name
NPVN Details: Azeez Kola
Bank details: Abdulazeez Adekola
The above name is absolutely unmatched in the eye of N-Power, despite the fact that the mean the same thing, ordinarily.
How to correct issue of unmatched name?
If edit button can't be restored in your portal for you to effect the correction , then approach your bank.
If your bank is requesting for evidence, you can easily get Affidavit of birth from High Court around. Make sure you use the name you want.

ReplyDeleteAm having unmatched name issue on my npvn portal. I edited my npvn portal to include my middle, but my bank details contains two names, as a result of this have not been paid since, to correct this issue i sent another bank name with bank details that contains my middle name as display on my npvn portal to the email address provided on the npvn portal. I hope this will solve my problem, because presently my payment history on the portal is still showing all the outstanding salary, but unmatched name is written as remark. What should i do?
ReplyDeleteHello Mr Kolawole, That shouldn't be an issue, but in your please send short message to npower phone number. If you're Ade Isola Idowu in bank, and npower picked Ade Idowu, so far your bvn is correct you shouldn't have issue with that.

Probably your name is on backlog list which is still being processed gradually.

DeleteI saw special annoncement on our platform in Alimosho in Lagos that some numbers will call to ask for questions like our name,acct no,bvn no frm voluteers dt have not been paid Pls, l want to confirm if it is true or they are fraud.

Thanks sir for all your assistance. Sir I have in my BVN registration Olabanji Sowonola SHOJOBI as my name and on the NPVN portal SHOJOBI Olabanji could that hinder my stipend payment in any way.
ReplyDeleteHello, that shouldn't, but we have seen cases like yours. I'm sure you'll be called. But make sure you tell them your name as it appears on your BVN.

my name on npvn was written as loyceak Ebi Akadakpo and bvn was loyce Ebi akadakpo. and all my documents carries loyce Ebi Akadakpo up till now am yet to recieve call fro m the n power agent even if i go to bank which affidabvite am i doning because the problem is from npower portal please help me how do i treat this please
